What makes Nuestra special?

Nuestra is a neighbourhood coffee shop built on connection.
We’re here to pour great coffee, open our doors wide, and create space for people to gather. Through events, shared moments, or simply a place to land, we listen to what our neighbourhood needs and grow with it. Our owner lives in the area, and Nuestra came to life because her living room couldn’t hold everyone she wanted to welcome. So she created one for the whole community instead.

Are our Gluten-Friendly options safe for Celiacs?

• Our gluten-friendly items are made without gluten-containing ingredients.

• We maintain strict protocols to minimize cross-contamination.

• We encourage guests to make choices based on their individual gluten sensitivity or allergy.

What we do to ensure our gluten friendly (gf) options are as safe as possible:

All gf items are on the top rack of the display case, so no crumbs fall onto items by accident
Red tongs are used only for gf items
Separate small oven for reheating gf items only
Isolated tools in the kitchen, storage, and always using clean new scoops/utensils
Enclosed shelves where gf baking items and equipment is held
Covers on both our mixers
Strict cleaning schedules/protocols
Scheudles for when gf items are prepared/baked

Where do you get your food and pastries from?

Everything is made in house as much as possible or locally supplied. Check out our menu here.

How do I get to Nuestra?

Driving? While we don’t have a dedicated parking lot, you’ll find street parking around our location.

Biking? We’ve got bike racks right in front, ready for you!

Can I rent your space?

Yes! We’d love to host you, your book club, your coworkers, your family, your board members — our space is your space!
